When she's working in the garage, she'll tie it up into a loose ponytail. When she's dancing, she'll tie it up into a high bun, but for the most part she just let's it do whatever it wants. Her style is usually fairly comfortable, jeans and t-shirts with light make up. Her parents met when they were in university. Her mother studying to be a teacher and her father would help her out every time her sad excuse for a car broke down. By the time her engine finally seized, they had their first date. Thing went amazing for them. They married when Lillian graduated and they had Sophia. They lived in a small apartment over the auto garage and started their lives together. When they had been married for six months, she told him her biggest secret. She could turn into a Canadian lynx at will. She showed him her ability and explained that if he wanted a divorce, she would give him one. Erik explained that he loved her, "furry butt and all". They enjoyed their lives together, she taught kindergarten and he worked the garage. They were happy, and after some time being married, they welcomed Sophia into the world. She started ballet when she was five, she loved being on the stage and loved when her parents would watch her performances. When she was six, she could remember dancing with her class and she looked out and saw that her mother was missing, and her father looked like he had been crying. When the show was over, she ran to her dad and asked why he was upset, and if it was because she messed up her plié. He scooped her up and told her that her dancing was amazing, but that her mother was gone. Lillian had been hiding years of painful depression and left a note that she was going to be a lynx. She ran off to the Canandian wilderness and gave up her human side for it. Erik took over being a full time father. Sophia grew up happy with her father, but when she started to take on the same form that her mother did, she knew that her father worried about her wanting to give up her humanity as well. When she was fourteen, she was accepted to Phalanx House to learn how to use her ability better. She went down to Louisiana with her father and toured the school, after some consideration and debate, he insisted that she went. For her first year, her father was still in Canada. When she turned 16, her father opened a new auto-shop outside of Louisiana so they would be close to each other. His parents died when he was young, and he never had any siblings, so being too far away from Sophia was painful for him. When she turned eighteen, she started helping her father in his garage. She had always been around cars, and she learned how to fix them at an early age, but actually getting a position to work there was a big step for her. They had an agreement that she would work there, but she still had to dance. The money she earned bought her a nice house in New Orleans, and she was able to leave Phalanx. She has some control over her shifts, but she's constantly terrified of losing her humanity like her mother did. Sophia is now 24 years old, dancing with the New Orleans Ballet Theater, working in her father's shop.
