pippa aislin blackwood the basics full name ♦ Pippa Aislin Blackwood, PhD nicknames ♦ Pip, Pips age ♦ twenty-seven birthday ♦ October 30th, 1988 occupation ♦ English teacher at Phalanx school ♦ Phalanx species ♦ Skinwalker ability/power ♦ Skinwalker how the ability works ♦ Pippa is a skinwalker which means she can turn into any person at will. She has to have seen the person at least once in order to change herself. Depending on how much detail she wants to go into with them, will depend on how long she is able to hold the face. If she has extreme focus, she can take everything about them. Their fingerprints, their knowledge, their personal skills. When she is able to change back, she is usually exhausted. If she doesn't need all of the details like skills, fingerprints, or knowledge, then she can hold the form for much longer. If Pippa takes on an extremely physically different form, she will usually be sore or nauseous when she turns back. For example if someone is significantly taller than she is, she might have sore knees for a while after. Being able to physically touch a person helps her be able to keep a form for longer with less physical side effects from it, but she is able to take a form from sight only. gender ♦ woman, she/her sexuality ♦ closested bisexual the appearance face claim ♦ Elizabeth Olsen height and weight ♦ 5'1, 98 pounds identifying features ♦ piercings on her ears, some scars from her childhood. A particularly sizable one on her back from a belt. overall appearance ♦ Pippa is as mighty as she is tiny. She is a small woman, barely standing over five feet tall but she is a strong woman. She stands with determination to do right by her family, she laughs with her whole heart when they thrive, and she weeps when they are in pain. Since she is a skinwalker, she is able to change her appearance at will, but her typical form is what she prefers. She has auburn hair (a reddish/brown) currently, but it was blonde though her whole childhood and youth. She typically wears it down, but when she’s working with her students or is particularly stressed out she pulls it up into a high bun on the top of her head. She gets stressed often, raising three siblings, but she does her best. Pippa has green eyes that match her siblings, it’s the key feature that they all share. She is fair skinned, and her life in academia and libraries has fostered that ghostly tone very nicely. A key feature to Pippa is her love for bright red lipsticks, and she will take painstaking time to make sure that her lips are properly painted on. She dresses in cute professional clothes for her classes, but she is well known for taking off her shoes and taking her students outside to enjoy warm weather and sunshine while discussing Elizabethan literature. She is a free-spirit type who loves to be outside and anywhere she can have fresh air on her face. When she is with her siblings, she will do anything for them. They will spend days together just having fun and she knows that she can turn to them for anything, but she rarely wants to. The beginning signs of worry lines around her doe eyes are proof enough of that. Pippa has a clear sign of terror from her childhood on her back. Her father’s weapon of choice was a belt, and she took a bulk of the beatings so her siblings wouldn’t have to. She is self-conscious about her back now, and she has had trouble with relationships because of it. She doesn’t like being naked and it typically ends her relationships quickly. the personality likes ♦ + family time + the smell of dusty books + iced coffee + big bold sunglasses dislikes ♦ + her temper + paper cuts + modern music + chocolate (she's allergic) strengths ♦ + survival + intelligent weaknesses ♦ + her family + night terrors dreams ♦ that her siblings will be happy and healthy fears ♦ her father will find them overall personality ♦ Pippa is a strong-willed determined type. She will do anything she can to survive and part of that means protecting her siblings with everything she can. She is stubborn and she typically believes that she knows what is best for everyone. It’s one of the traits that her siblings hate, but her students love. She will do anything for the people she cares about, and she has a warm heart to everyone who deserves it. Those who break her trust, will likely never gain her trust back. She has never met a grudge she didn’t like. When it comes to protecting her family, she will never trust anyone who hurt them. Girls who break his brother’s heart, boys who snub her sisters, she doesn’t forgive any of them. There is a side to Pippa that she doesn’t know how to put words to. She is starting to have feelings for women and it’s something that she doesn’t know how to react to. She spent so much of her life protecting and watching out for her siblings, she never focused too much on herself and what she wanted. She had a few relationships in the past, but they typically ended with her insecurities about her scared body. She is struggling with her attraction to both men and women and doesn’t know how to verbalize what she wants out of it. If she wants to date women, or just possibly look at them. the history father ♦ Joshua Blackwood, 57, professional low life mother ♦ Abigail Douhghlas, deceased siblings ♦ a younger brother and twin younger sisters important people ♦ friends at Phalanx hometown ♦ Edinburgh, Scotland overall history ♦ Pippa was the first born in her family. Her father was a serial criminal, and her mother too lovestruck to care about it. Her mother would always forgive his actions, and they would fall back into bed and after Pippa they had a little boy, and then twin girls. When her mother was pregnant with the twins, her father’s violent streak that kept him in jail came home. He was a man with four kids and little patience for them. He started by beating Abigail. If dinner wasn’t quite right, if the house was a mess, her mother would have a black eye to show for it. Pippa did her best to protect her siblings from it, she would hide them in a closet when their father was on a rampage and she would keep them locked in there with water, snacks, toys, and her body blocking the door. When Pippa turned eight, her father finally hurt her enough to kill her. He pushed her down the stairs, and he claimed she fell. When the police asked Pippa and her siblings about it, she was too afraid to tell them the truth and the death was ruled an accident. After that, her father started beating Pippa if there was something wrong. When she turned twelve, she started to notice some changes. When she would be particularly stressed or scared, her body would change. Her skin would change colors, her hair grow longer or shorter, all sorts of weird things. She would spend hours researching people like her, and by chance, she came across someone from a place called Phalanx Home in America. She would stay up at night watching over her siblings and would practice changing herself to look like them. She started to work on a plan when she was able to hold her changed face for a longer time. By the time she was thirteen, she managed to drug her father with pills she found in the couch. She assumed his face and packed up her siblings. She drained his bank account from his illegal activities and bought plane tickets to Louisiana. When they finally got to New Orleans, she went to Phalanx and begged for a place to raise her siblings. They welcomed her to the home and successfully hid them away. They helped Pippa with her abilities, and the abilities that came from her siblings later. Through Phalanx she was able to adopt her siblings when she turned 18, able to go to college while raising her siblings, get her PhD in English and provide a home for them. She has never heard from her father since she left him on the floor in Scotland and hopes that she never will again. Now, she teaches English at Phalanx and is still watching out for her siblings. the role player alias ♦ belle age ♦ 25 pronouns ♦ she/her code ♦ ADMIN EDIT other characters ♦ Evangeline Maxine Charbonneau, Sophia Grace Lawrence |
