He stands at five eleven, dark brown hair and shockingly bright blue eyes. If he’s not clean shaven then he usually has a bit of a five o’clock shadow gracing his cheeks. He has a quick smile and usually wears just a casual jeans and a shirt with a jacket, if he has to wear anything fancy for a museum event, then he’ll dawn a suit and tie. the personality likes ♦ Family, work, photography, carpentry dislikes ♦ bullies, instructions not being followed, women or children being hurt, Flying strengths ♦ Quick thinking, photographic memory, weaknesses ♦ Slightly absentminded, bit of a slob dreams ♦ To see Shira happy and married (maybe with grandchildren >.> but no rush) fears ♦ Anything happening to anyone in his family overall personality ♦ Jacob is an interesting person; he is very creative, when he’s not at the museum he can usually be found fiddling with his camera as he loves the art of photography. His pictures usually consist of landscapes, but he’ll take portraits and things of that nature as well. During his school years he was a bit more active then most of the other students, not in the sports sense, but in the sense that it was slightly hard to keep him sitting still. He was usually up and around more then anything else. But, he was always the level headed one of his group of friends, that is unless someone he cares about is threaten and then he will act a in more rash sense. Now that Jacob’s an adult his temperament has calmed down, he’s quite protective of those he cares about and he’s very understanding. He can be fun and slightly dorky at times as well, something that comes out a bit more if he feels like he’s in an awkward situation. the history father ♦ Dmitri Nore, 70, Field Archaeologist (Retired) mother ♦ Scarlet Nore (Nee: Thompson, 69, Field Archaeologist (retired) siblings ♦ Michael Nore, 46, older brother Gabriel Nore, 37, younger brother Susanna Nore, 34, younger sister important people ♦ Ariadne Nore (Nee: Kosta) 45, Wife Shira Nore, 18, daughter Rena Kosta, 36, sister in law Elias Kosta, 33, brother in law hometown ♦ Cairo, Egypt overall history ♦ Jacob Richard Nore was born in the beautiful and exceedingly busy city of Cairo Egypt. This was for the simple fact that having both parents that are field archaeologists meant that one didn’t really pick and choose where their children were born. So, Jake’s first words were the Arabic words for rice and water before his parent’s next assignment took them to another far off place of the world. Although his childhood and that of his siblings was slightly different, Jake at least wouldn’t’ change it for anything. Traveling became a habit until he was older and able to decide where he wanted to live. After considering the fact that one becomes legal and able to live on their own at sixteen within the UK, Jake felt it best to settle there and at least attend a normal high school for a change. What he wasn’t prepared for was the onslaught of teasing he would get, his accent was funny, not exactly American and not British, growing up around the world had given him a strange mixture of various different accents. Then there were his clothes, Jake had taken to collecting various items of clothing from different parts of the world, of course this didn’t always pose a problem considering the school had a uniform. There was one person who didn’t tease the living crap out of him and that person became his best friend and crush. A miss, Ariadne Kosta. She was gorgeous, with dark hair and a rather lanky figure, but that could easily be overlooked. She had wide set and kind blue eyes and a gift for music that caused him to linger outside of the music room just to hear. Her family originated from Greece, thus she knew what it was like to be teased for various things one couldn’t help. Although during their high school years, Jake couldn’t help but notice that she would sometimes become a bit flustered and sometimes testy whenever she caught him listening to her music outside of the music room. After Graduation the two lost contact, Jake journeying off to the states for university and eventually settling in New Orleans, Louisiana. After four years as a history major, Jake took up a job as the assistant to the Curator of the Natural History Museum within the beautiful city. It was a job he absolutely loved, working his way up from the anthropology department to sit beside and help out the head of the museum and at such a young age, Jake could only thank his parents for their unconventional ways of raising children. At twenty one, while wandering the streets of the French Quarter, a familiar sound met his ears. Jake paused for a moment, silently trying to figure out which direction said sound was coming from. Once that was figured out the young man took off. A few turns later had him stepping into a dusty and dark jazz club, after blinking a few times to clear his sight he stared at the stage where a dim spotlight lit up a lone piano and microphone. He recognized that voice anywhere. Ariadne. Jake stood off to the shadows until her performance was over and the young woman stood up from the piano. Her figure no longer the lanky shape of a high school girl, but with curves and a full smile, dark hair that tumbled down around her shoulders. She was still as stunning as ever. After getting up his courage, Jake made his way toward her, after a clearly surprised greeting the two sat down for drinks at five that evening and didn’t get up again until midnight when the club started to close. After that Jake and Aria were somewhat inseparable. Months turned into years and one day Aria stepped up to Jake with a pale nervous face, a look that made him completely nervous and he quickly questioned if everything was alright. That was the moment the news was given, Aria was pregnant. Of course at the young age of twenty three, Jake never thought he would become a father, but with the terrified look in Aria’s eyes he allowed his own lips to curl into a smile. They would be a family a real one. Two weeks after that Jake asked her to marry him, he had been shopping for rings anyway, and now seemed like a perfect time and in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Botanic Gardens they were married. Nine months later Shira Nore was born on a chilly winter day that had both parents completely ecstatic. Both Jake and Aria wanted more children, but it was obvious that having any more was far to risky as Aria seemed to suffer through miscarriages, and Jake wasn’t willing to risk her life. After the old curator retired from the museum, Jake stepped up and was quickly promoted to the position where he now works to this day. the role player alias ♦ Penny age ♦ 27 pronouns ♦ Her/Her’s, She code ♦ ADMIN EDIT other characters ♦ Noah Oliver Charbonneau |
